glamgiving

So, as all my fellow university students know, it is crucial to intern at as many organisations as possible in the hopes of securing a high-flying job in the big wide world of full time work straight out of graduation (a girl can dream)- so when I was fortunate enough to gain an ongoing internship at glamgiving, to say I was thrilled was, well,  an understatement. Besides having one of the nicest bosses in the world, the history behind glamgiving is really what drew me to the internship. glamgiving is a fabulous organisation that raises funds for selected charities by selling donated high-quality second-life fashion and designer clothing and accessories. glamgiving is much, MUCH more than an "online charity shop", that work closely with it's chosen charities holding events around London for the fashion zavvi to donate their unwanted designer items along with raising publicity of the charitable organisation. From your high street faves like All Saints and Zara to designers such as Stella McCartney and Nicole Farhi that we all lust over day in and day out, let's face it.- glamgiving has some gorgeous pieces online that you can view here. With more to come in the coming months (we are planning the preparation for the photoshoots as I type!). With 40% of proceeds going to charity  if you have any unwanted designer or high-end clothing or accessories you would like to donate for a good cause please contact either myself or the fabulous Lou Stacey (Founder) on lou@glamgiving.com and/or if you want to have a general nose at some fabulous second-life fashion, take a look on the glamving website!
